               ∞ Clues to the Book’s Metaphysics ∞

[Slide #2]

  • Term: “Seeds of Wisdom” a phrase found in old Eastern schools of thought applying to intrinsic philosophy or truths, that don’t particularly focus on a certain dogma.

[Slide #3]

  • Term: “The Mystery” is found in Hopi beliefs when talking about old prophesies.

[Slide #4]

  • Term: “Laws of Physics” is a metaphysical way of describing how   the   book works not in a    regular literary perspective but the concepts   that create the fibers of this creation.

[Slide #6]

  • Pay attention to the laws that regulate this parallel universe.

[Slide #7]

  • Notice how paragraphs are disjointed.
  • The narration seems as if it’s popping up out of nowhere. It’s to show the trippy aspects of an infinite time continuum as the main character is forming out of the nothingness. She introduces the author as her maker and oddly enough, she is aware of the reader’s reality as well, because she states, “imagination” is what connects all realities together. This reality the book is introducing becomes stronger the more she realizes herself.

[Slide #8]

  • This is when the prologue begins, which symbolizes the beginning of the reality. “Here I am” stands out to symbolize the character’s own isolated existence at the moment.
  • The narration begins weaving her world and her identity in the moments that follow.

[Slide #9]

  • This is a soulmate theory that shows how intrinsic a significant other can become to another person’s own identity.

[Slide #11]

  • Her inability to believe in love makes her unable to attain love. She needs to know love to believe in love.
  • Until then, the meaning of love, and the identity of her love, will be lost to darkness.

[Slide #12]

  • Fear is a huge catalyst that tends to ruin perfect worlds, homes, relationships and so on. Now that Elizabeth fears that she’s losing control, and just the thought makes it a reality.

[Slide #13]

  • Paragraphs become more disjointed when Elizabeth becomes more uncertain and the more her reality is disturbed. Her surroundings react to her every thought and this doubt is destroying the perfection of her home and the balance in her love.

[Slide #14]

  • Elizabeth is propelled into darkness, which symbolizes a dark devoid, where “isolation gives birth to more isolation.” She feels stranded in a place a universe that’s become more of a stranger to her than anything else.

[Slide #15]

  • Term: “Virtue” is philosophized in by Socrates who stated, It’s all about living a life of virtue. Virtue is very revered in old texts and old religions. This is also found in Buddhism texts.

[Slide #16]

  • Follow the arrows. Let the seeds of wisdom lead you on.

[Slide #17]

  • Elizabeth is introducing herself as a seemingly ordinary human being, as an immortal stuck in a human being’s body. This symbolizes the potential of what we all hold within, a soul that is immortal just like her, who’s shackled in her own human bondage and struggle.

[Slide #18]

  • Her thoughts are still forming the reality around her. Every thought is almost like a self-fulfilling prophesy. The word, “Thought” stands alone to symbolize its’ own identity, a formation, isolated as it exists.

[Slide #22]

  • “The Banquet” is a new manifestation that visually shows it’s own intrusion on her reality, and the narrative, as it is surrounded by quotes. Her reality seems to be overrun by someone else and this change is even *restructuring the future. The disjointed paragraph explains the problem and shows how this manipulation is screwing up her story, narration and her reality.

[Slide #23]

  • These are destructive, negative thoughts that are uncontrolled. The swearing is deliberate. This sets off a more uncontrollable nature that affects the narration.

[Slide #24]

  • There is a mysterious man that may be the bearer of this change. Readers now have to wonder who this person is, and why is he powerful enough to invade the own main character’s narration? All magical laws should be considered at this point.

[Slide #27]

  • This is a universal way to explain how one person can be afflicted by the forces surrounding their reality, until one becomes strong enough to control their own reality and even stronger, to defy the reality and make it their own.

[Slide #28]

  • This is the beginning of the end. The once idle reality that she created is now transforming into a hell-bent world of demons and vampires. All that her instincts are telling Elizabeth to do is to save herself, to run, to get out of there.

[Slide #29]

  • This is a caption showing one way the larger mission of Spirit Quest has descended on her too.

[Slide #30]

  • This shows how one responds in the midst of danger. Fear is a self-defense mechanism that helps her survive the waning nightmare. She responds from the opposing force at hand, called to become her own super vigilante. Her immortal powers begin to awaken from this mayhem and the tripped Mission, and now she’s fighting with her own superhuman powers now.

[Slide #31]

  • This symbolizes the way people are driven to doing things by their own sheer will. It is unquestionable at times like theses, and one can only respond to the instructions of their soul.

[Slide #32]

  • Her soul expands and her powers gain momentum as Elizabeth is soaring over the rooftops. Her drive spurs the unraveling of her own soul’s essence to be unleashed.

[Slide #33]

  • “Awakening” is a term from old religions that sometimes define a person awakening to one’s full potential, or in Buddhism, it awakens a person to Nirvana, freeing them from their human bondage for a temporary or even infinite amount of time.

[Slide #34]

  • As Elizabeth’s essence is becoming free, it triggers her “Dream Awakening” to descend over her, as she runs.

[Slide #35]

  • This “Dream Awakening” occurs as she’s running. It shows more insight on a split reality, of her old home, that’s all happening in time’s lost continuum. It shows a little bit of what her soulmate feels during the time he understands she’s going to let him go, due to her own inability to know and fully believe in love, and in a way, meaning her inability to full know him and believe in him. But they are both to blame in this event.

[Slide #36]

  • Note that the laws of the universe are what created her origins. After the “Dream Awakening,” she’s becoming wiser and knows that the only way to bring back the balance of the universe is to take responsibility and put forth effort to correct the situation.

[Slide #37]

  • Her lost love became the monster that is destroying her reality, at war with her. At this time, she is collecting herself in the knowledge of her own universal truths, as she reclaims some Seeds of Wisdom.

[Slide #38]

  • Elizabeth is powerful enough to create ripples in her reality. More knowledge “triggers the memory” of her genes. With that, she’s rips open a portal in the sky and jumps inside it.

[Slide #39]

  • Elizabeth lands into a lost forgotten world that is her abandoned home planet, now in ruins, and lost in time’s oblivion. The place is haunted by her memories of long ago, back in the ancient past.

[Slide #40]

  • The frog is her reincarnated immortal brother, symbolizing her spiritual guide, to show her the way to overcoming this problem. He explains a little more about what happened. Readers should wonder how he knows all of this and how he knew she’d be coming back to this world.

[Slide #41]

  • The line “this light that once governed all things” is fleetingly said but an immense universal truth. She barely recognizes how important the light is, but is mystified either way, of the characteristics the light produces.

[Slide #42]

  • More knowledge descends as she begins to remember the truths hidden in her genes.

[Slide #43]

  • The sample of the book ends here to show that she’s beginning to remember who she is. But there’s a whole adventure waiting for her and the reader to participate in, in order for the entire Spirit Quest Mission to be fulfilled. This is only the beginning.
